Alpha-Whitworth badminton club is one of the founder members of the Rochdale and Oldham badminton league. We are the only club in the Oldham and Rochdale league to promote a junior club with Badminton England coaches. Our senior clubs play September to April and our junior club plays September to June in a purpose-built sports centre. The junior club is a good way to get children between 9 - 17 years of age involved in sport with the aid of excellent Badminton England coaches who are all CRB checked and now being sponsored by Blackburn Rovers Community trust so come and see what badminton can do for you.We would like to offer a big thanks to the Mayer of Whitworth councillor David Chorlton for his kind donation to the club from his mayoral fund.
